On Friday 27th November we finally got the chance to test the Garston & Speke part of the Tagging Com8X3A4623munities app with some of the children from Gilmour infants school who helped make the animati ons for our app. Six children, Robin Surtees from Gilmour Infants and myself (Tom from FACT) set out to see how suitable the walking route was, if the animations fitted into their location on the walk and if our new app was in full working order! It proved to be a really useful trip and the children were made up to see their hard work and voices on this app that explores the history of their area.

Unfortunately we only got halfway along the route before the rain came and we had to dash back to the school, but we managed to get some great feedback for the app developer and have made plans to got back and finish the walk in the new year (and hopefully with dry feet this time too!)
