Liverpool Lighthouse


Rick Ellis – Musician, and brand new cinema professional being born in Yorkshire and to world war parents, and also a theatre organist as well as other instruments, I decided that a newbie to Liverpool should concentrate on cinemas finding out about these mighty buildings. Sometimes I really wish I’d been around in the 1950s to experience the organ rising and to see these amazing films. Numbers and songs include “She Wears Red Feathers” – “Crew Cut” – “Day by Day” – “The Nearness of You” – For You, My Love” -“Feet Up” and “Too Late.” and unforgotten which featured The neighbors of a frontier family turn on them when it is suspected that their adopted daughter was stolen from the local Kiawa tribe. The organ sunk down into the stage for the last time on the 26th November 1960.
